Even if you didn't have a huge crash, it is a wise idea to inspect your chassis between runs to look for damaged parts. This advice sounds simple and obvious, but the chassis designs are getting so good that a lot of the time parts don't fully break during a collision (allowing you to finish the race and do repairs later). Sometimes a crack or stress point is created instead of a full-blown fracture. This damaged part could easily be overlooked before your next race, allowing you to start the race without the proper repairs, and chances are, the part won't survive the next impact.
